Lovely Swords Girl (Chinese Drama, New)

Our heroine was overjoyed when through a series of circumstances she ends up marrying her crush, a man who after their memorable first meeting became her standard of what a perfect man is. Unfortunately, our heroine’s joy was short-lived once she finds out on her wedding night that her new husband is actually a fool who due to being poisoned in the past has become an idiot. Furious, our heroine demands a divorce right away but is eventually convinced by her mother-in-law to stay married for a year.

The husband is actually the hero so no fear, he will return to normal after about 10 episodes. I liked this one, the story and the character set up are hilarious.

Wait For The Sun Wait For You (Taiwanese Drama)

This one is a remake of a T-drama classic from 30+ years ago that tells the story of how our two leads broke up in college due to a misunderstanding then meet again fifteen years later when our hero shows up as our heroine’s college professor. (Looks like our heroine didn’t get to finish college and decided to go back to school years later.)

It’s a shame that this one’s production value is on the low budget side because the synopsis sounded fun to me. Judging by the first episode the story will follow the fairly familiar format where we will see the two leads’ reunion right off the bat then get all the backstory of how the two fell in love back in college. Being the type who usually likes the reunion portion of the story more than the innocent first love, I am going to give this one a few weeks before I check back on it.

Flavor It’s Yours (Chinese Drama)

As a wine critic highly regarded for his perfect taste AND rude personality, our hero’s well organized life is abruptly thrown into chaos when an accidental kiss with our heroine who has no sense of taste promptly rubbed him of his perfect taste buds. As you guys can guess, our hero soon finds out that the only way he can get his perfect taste back…albeit just temporarily is to kiss our heroine again.

While the plot is fairly predictable but the cast is very pretty and the two leads’ chemistry seemed quite promising.
