All I Want For Love Is You (Chinese Drama, New)

A skilled Sanda fighter (a Chinese combat sport), our heroine could single-handily beat up five hooligans by herself…but somehow turns instantly to a stuttering mess when she comes face to face with the school’s star student and the most popular boy, her crush. Despite having terrible grades and her low tolerance for the sight of blood, our heroine is determined to do everything possible to enter into the same medical school our hero is going.

Up to this point, the plot might sound a lot like the much-beloved Itazura na Kiss but there are enough major differences in the two stories that All I Want For Love Is You shouldn’t remind the viewer of Itazura na Kiss. For one, unbeknownst to our heroine, her crush is not one-sided. Unlike our robotic-like hero in Itazura na Kiss, the hero here is full insecurities and is actually filled with doubts that he won’t be worthy of our heroine.

The story will follow our two leads from high school to college as our two leads each embarks on a journey to become the best person for the other.

The Teenage Psychic 2 (Taiwanese Drama)

The T-drama award-winning original series from HBO is back with season 2. Actress Kuo Shu Yao will be reprising her role as our teenage heroine who is born will the ability to see spirit. Season 2 will pick up right around the same place season one left off, as our heroine goes back to school after a traumatic summer and has to figure out once again how to help the dead AND live a “normal” teenage life.

The Love By Hypnotic (Chinese Drama, New)

Both equally dismayed to be forced into marriage as a way to solidify their two nations’ alliance, our two leads, one a haughty Prince and the other, a tomboy princess, disliked like each other almost from the moment they met. Tired of dealing with our hero who seems determined to break off their marriage engagement, our heroine is overjoyed to receive a pendant that will help her to hypnotize our hero.

Surprised to discover our heroine’s hypnosis somehow brought back traumatic childhood memories he had long thought forgotten, our hero decides that perhaps his new “wife” might be of some use after all.

I wasn’t too impressed with the trailer but the show was surprisingly enjoyable! The two leads’ chemistry was great and super cute as well.

If Talking Paid (Japanese Drama, New)

Toma Ikuta’s new drama! Toma plays our 31 year old hero who spends his day mooching off his mother after a failed business venture years ago. Seemingly quite content to be a jobless bum, our hero’s leisurely life comes to a screeching end when his very opinionated older sister moves back home with her husband and daughter while their own house goes under renovation.

This one doesn’t seem to have too much plot other than watching our hero mouthing off to his older sister and everyone else around him… however, the show is strangely funny and charming nonetheless.
