Synopsis: A ghost, poor Arang has lost all her memory and thus cannot rest in peace until she finds out how she died. Unfortunately, no one seems to be able to see her let along help her to discover how she died…until the new magistrate comes to town. Overjoyed to discover that despite his effort to hide his special ability, our hero can actually see ghosts, our heroine is not about to take the new magistrate rejection to help her for an answer.

This one is the whole package deal. Fantasy, horror (not TOO scary though), suspense, super cute romance…and Lee Joon Gi! Shin Min Ah is of course always good at playing the spunky heroine type so it was easy to fall in love with her character. As for our hero…well, it is Lee Joon Gi…what’s not to love especially when his character gives our heroine plenty of his heart melting “exasperated but tender” smile. By the way, Lee Joon Gi have quite a bit fighting scenes in this one so… there is another reason to watch the show.

The story is fairly focused on our two leads but it does have extremely interesting secondary characters with their own rich backstory. For example, Yoo Seung Ho plays the jade emperor and despite only have relatively few scenes, his character was extremely memorable but doesn’t take the attention away from the main storyline.

Oh, one last thing. This one has one of the cutest endings I have seen! You are gonna call me a liar when you watch the last episode BUT watch it until the very end and I think you will agree with me.

This one is on Viki.com.
