Synopsis: Firmly believing the fortune teller’s prediction that their daughter must live as a boy until she is 25 year of age or she would meet an early demise, our heroine’s parents raised our heroine up to be a boy in every way. Saving a triad boss by chance, our heroine ends up becoming “sworn brothers” with our hero. Falling in love with our hero the more she gets to know him, our heroine desperately tries to remind herself that she is nothing but a “brother” to our hero. Hilariously, while our heroine is trying to rein in her heart, our hero is stunned to discover that his feelings for his “brother” are not at all brotherly… To make the thing just that much more hilarious and complicated, our hero’s little sister has also fallen in love with our heroine.

This one has a lot of stereotypes BUT oh, it has so many swoon worthy moments between our two leads that I doubt you are going to care.  Despite being somewhat predictable, the show actually manages to keep the story moving and feeling fresh. Plus, I don’t think I will ever get tired of watching a well done gender bender where our hero has to travel down the necessary agonize journey of “What’s this feeling? But he is my good friend AND a guy!” It also helps that both of our leads’ character are equally strong AND charming. My favorite part is that the heroine is an extremely good fighter which is how she saved our heroine in the first place.

You can find this super cute T-drama on Viki and Netflix.
