Between using gestures and drawings, Hua Qiangu was able to tell Zihua what has transpired these last few months. She was able to recover so quickly thanks to not only Sha Qian Mo but Mo Bin Xian and many others’ help.

The air became noticeably cooler when she mentioned Mo Bin Xian, a sheepish Hua Qiangu promptly changes the subject. After dinner, Qiangu was quickly put to bed because she kept dozing off. (Remember Mo Bin Xian? He is the one that was sent to drain our heroine’s power while she was still a demon goddess but ended up falling in love with her.)

At night, Bai Zihua went over all the notes Sha Qian Mo written concerning what he did these last few months to help Qiangu and some of the issues he ran into, then he took a list of medicines to Luo Shi Yi for him to gather.

Walking into the bedroom, Zihua is greeted by a rather delicious view of Qiangu wearing an almost transparent violet skirt that drapes down as she leans against the bed while holding a fragrance sachet to her nose with her eyes closed.

“You woke up?” Qiangu has spent most of the last couple years sleeping.

Nodding, Qiangu turns to look at Zihua but there was no focus in her eyes.

“You Rou left.”

To where? Qiangu signs with her hands.

“It looks like Xiao Yue’s master wants him to take his place as the head monk of the monastery so she rushed off to stop him.”

Xiao Yue is going to be the head monk?

“He has already rejected it. Perhaps he himself still has yet figured out why he would reject it.”

You didn’t tell You Ru?

“It’s good for her to be nervous for a bit. Plus it will give us some time to be alone or else she would keep squatting outside trying to eavesdrop.”

Speechless, Qiangu thought: Didn’t he always cast a shield? There was no way You Ru could’ve heard anything.

“What are you holding?” He could smell it from a long distance away. The fragrance is light, almost non-existent but somehow able to draw out one’s deepest memory.

“You even started dabbling in fragrances while you were in the demon world?”

Qiangu shakes her head. Zi Xun asked me to bring it back for you.

After hesitating for a moment, Bai Zihua agrees “Alright, I will accept it. Thank her for me if you see her again.”

Despite his words, Bai Zihua made no move to take the sachet from Qiangu’s hand.

Qiangu really wants to know what Bai Zihua’s expression is at that moment but of course she can’t see so she could just pout as she holds up the sachet to her nose.

It really smell so good. I could never mix a fragrance such as this…I lost this time.

Shaking his head indulgently, Bai Zihua helps Qiangu to sit upright to do their nightly routine of running his energy through her body to help her healing but Qiangu suddenly grabs hold of his sleeve.

Master, why were you so cruel to Zi Xun! You knew a long time ago that she likes you right? You knew she even became a demon because of you?

No answering her question, Bai Zihua instead frowns and asks “Zi Xun was the one who gave you these clothes?”

Unable to see so most of her clothes were brought in by You Ru and chosen by him. This particular dress was made with a special fabric that only the demon world would have.

Yes, does it look good?

Zi Xun said that even if she can’t see she should still make sure to dress herself up prettily in front of Master.

Bai Zihua’s frown deepens. Did she dress like this in front of Sha Qian Mo too?

You haven’t answer my question yet, don’t change the subject.

She is not the same Xiao Gu as before who always got fooled by him. (Remember the part when Qiangu hasn’t recovered her memory yet and our hero could always distract her whenever she asked him something he doesn’t want to answer?)

Bai Zihua takes off his robe to cover her bare shoulders “So what if I knew? Everyone chooses their own path and have things they are insistent on. Zi Xun is a proud person. I could not give her love. Neither does she need my pity.”

But…

Qiagu still wants to protest but Bai Zihua tips her face up with his finger.

“We still need to settle the fact that you dared to drug me!”

It wasn’t me, it was Zhu Ran.

“But you asked Zi Xun to bring me the antidote, what did you mean by that?”

Qiangu lowers her head guiltily, not daring to saying anything more.

Remembering the most degrading moment in his life, Bai Zihua is still quite huffy.

“I was so furious that I almost wished that I never accepted you as my pupil.”

Flustered, Qiangu promptly throws her arms around Bai Zihua’s neck, followed by planting a bunch of kisses but she missed her goal and ended up kissing the tip of Bai Zihua’s nose.

Letting a soft sigh, Bai Zihua turns his head away but a certain someone’s lips refuse to give up and keep pressing closer until she finally find her mark. After lingering on his lips for a long moment the soft velvety tip of Qiangu’s tongue begins to gingerly trace the shape of his lips until it finally parts it and darts inside.

His face burning hot, Bai Zihua quickly pushes Qiangu away when her restless hands inch their way into his robe. “Don’t be naughty.”

This girl knows clearly that with her looking like a fourteen or fifteen year old right now he can’t possibly do anything to her but she loves to taunt him and even uses him as her bed at night.

Mighty proud of herself, Qiangu burst out in a fit of giggles until she accidentally knocks her head on the wall and winced in pain.

I want a little tiny Bai so badly! We have been married for five years already! Five years!

Pumping her small fists in air, Qiangu complains. She has wanted to have her way with Master for long time now but despite sleeping together on the same bed every night these last couple years they have made absolute no progress!

Bai Zihua raises an eyebrow. A certain someone is getting more and more brazen! If she is so great then she should work faster on recovering her eyesight and get her power back soon because he will not touch her before that happens…plus, he still needs a bit of time to accept and adjust to the fact that his pupil is his wife….

You still refuse to accept me, you still think of me as your pupil, I know you only married me out of guilt…

Quite good at summoning tears on demand now, Qiangu pretends to cry.

Bai Zihua knows full well that she is pretending but his heart still melts at the sight of her tears. Pulling the little woman to him, Zihua presses a kiss on the back of Qiangu’s neck.

Bai Zihua’s breath sending shivers down the back of her neck, Qiangu feels as if the touch of his hand seems to be scorching every inch of her skin it touches. No, no, no. This is too intense, she can’t take it anymore!

The corner of his lips pulled slightly upward, Bai Zihua punishingly lightly bites Qiangu’s earlobe.

“Em…Master…” Qiangu finally couldn’t take it and lets out a moan.

Stunned, both Qiangu and Bai Zihua froze as he looks at her with delight “You can talk now?”

Letting out a few coughs, Qiangu’s face lights up with a bright smile “Yes, it looks like it! Who knew this was so useful! We need to use it more. Master, should we continue?”

Giving Qiangu a flick on the forehand, Bai Zihua replies “Stop messing around. Settle down and focus on working through your energy. Perhaps it won’t take long before you will be able to see!””

Nodding obediently, Qiangu buries her head in Bai Zihua’s palm “I miss you so much! I haven’t see you for five years.”

Caressing Qiangu’s head with his other hand, Bai Zihua asks “Silly, haven’t I been right by your side this whole time?”

“Hmm…Master, they said one can see three lifetimes in a long dream so what did you dream about when you were at the bottom of the sea?”

“I dreamed that I was human, I got really really old and sat in the yard with you to enjoy the sun.”

Her heart lurched in pain “Master, I am sorry…”

“Don’t think about the past anymore. As long as you are by my side then not dying and not aging would be a blessing, not a curse.”

Nodding with a smile, Qiangu crawls into Bai Zihua’s arms and suddenly feels that no matter what pain she suffered in the past it was all worth it.

Everyone in this world prays for eternity but eternity is already in their grasp.

(The End!)

Well…not really. I personally consider this the end, but there is one more piece of epilogue called the “The Bet” a few of you has been asking for so I will translate that part too.
