In an instant, he was thrown back to the Pu Manor and everything was Peony. The smiling Peony, the tender Peony, the playful Peony, the lazy Peony. Countless Peony were dancing and spinning in his sight, laughing…Jin Siyu suddenly felt frustration surging up in his heart. The emotions that had been suppressed for a long time suddenly broke through the dam of reason. He let out a low roar in his threat, suddenly lowered his head, and pressed his lips down heavily.

The force he pressed down was so decisive, so unlike the gentle prince in Feng Zhi Wei’s impression. He kissed her lips forcefully and almost roughly, and instantly tried to use his teeth to force open hers, unable to wait any longer to throw himself in and occupy the amazing territory he had never set foot in.

Knee locked, waist clamped, body pressed. Jin Siyu used his whole body as a weapon to press Feng Zhi Wei tightly against the railing– back in those days, he had respected her will and maintained his gentlemanly manner…so he ended up becoming the bygone breeze in her memory. If he still kept his gentlemanly manner then he would be a fool. He will be as predatory as she was ruthless!

The sound of teeth knocking against each other could be heard clearly in the silence. The noisy laughter in the distance was blown away by the wind, with nothing but faint shadows by the time it reached them. Jin Siyu was blocked in front of her lips, but he was not impatient. He patiently tried to touch her waist. He remembered that she seemed to have an old injury on her waist, and her body would go soft whenever it was touched.

Just as his hand touched her waist, Feng Zhi Wei suddenly lowered her body, and then he heard a “hum” sound. Something was abruptly pressed against him.

That something was cold, hard, and sharp.

Jin Siyu stopped moving, his pupils slowly shrank as he looked down at Feng Zhi Wei who was under him.

Feng Zhi Wei looked at him calmly and coldly but did not say anything like “move away” sort of words.

With his back to the light, Jin Siyu’s eyes flickered with a cold chilling light as his gaze slowly moved down and looked at his waist– just now, Feng Zhi Wei did not resist at first and then used his waist groping hand to trigger her soft sword mechanism that was on her waist and aimed it right at his vitals.

This woman…is always so patient and so cruel.

Feng Zhi Wei’s gaze was completely calm, but then the expression in her eyes changed in the next instant.

There were footsteps approaching, but they did not belong to Gu Nan Yi. It was the brisk footstep of a stranger. A person walked and said lightly, “This is really a good place. It must be great to have a drink here…”

He obviously noticed something was off and was walking in their direction.

Feng Zhi Wei felt her heart tighten with nerves– at this moment, her hair was disheveled, her clothes were in disarray, and she was leaning on the railing, entangled with a man. If others saw this scene, it would surely bring about suspicion and trouble.

Jin Siyu was also surprised. He had already recognized who it was from the person’s voice, and he was even more unwilling to expose his grievances with Wei Zhi in front of the person. Feng Zhi Wei noticed the moment hesitation appeared in his eyes. She suddenly shook her fingers and retraced the soft sword, then immediately grabbed Jin Siyu’s hand and put it on the front of her lapel, making it look like she was about to fall into the lake and Jin Siyu was in the middle of trying to rescue her.

As soon as she made the gesture, Jin Siyu understood and a trace of approval appeared in his eyes as he gripped her lapel.

Feng Zhi Wei’s heart had just relaxed a bit at his cooperation when she suddenly saw him staring at her lapel. His expression of calm changed again, and a trace of hostility flashed across his eyes.

A warning bell went off in Feng Zhi Wei’s head. At this moment, she had already retracted her weapon and placed herself in an unfavorable position. Now that her most vulnerable vitals are exposed, Jin Siyu can kill her in an instant if he wants, or he could kidnap her at the very least!

Feng Zhi Wei silently regretted that she still underestimated Jin Siyu or perhaps their previous encounter left too deep of an impression on her. She kept feeling that this person had no intention of killing her but she didn’t take into consideration that the deeper the love, the deeper the hatred would be now!

All these thoughts flashed through her mind like lightning and Jin Siyu, who was holding her lapel, had already slowly raised his little pinky.

There was a blue light on his little pinky, flickering faintly.

The direction of that fingertip was exactly at Feng Zhi Wei’s heart.

The blue light at his fingertip flashed, like a ghostly blue fire in the night, with a murderous intent, ready to snatch someone’s life.

The man with brisk steps had already walked closer and saw Jin Siyu right away. Seemingly a bit surprised that he was here, but pretending to not know him, he reached out and patted his shoulder, saying, “This good brother is sure very good at choosing a place. Refreshing breeze and the bright moon, no better place to drink…eh…what’s wrong with this guy…”

His pat made Jin Siyu’s shoulder jerk. The fingertip that was already fixed and pointed at Feng Zhi Wei’s throat jerked as well, causing the blue light to shoot out!

Jin Siyu was startled and subconsciously reached out his hand to block it but of course it was already too late. His fingertips were very close to Feng Zhi Wei’s throat so even a heavenly immortal would not be able to stop it.

In an instant, Jin Siyu’s eyes were filled with shock, regret, relief, loss, regret, pain…all kinds of complicated emotions.

He closed his eyes.

“Ding”

Jin Siyu’s eyebrows trembled.

He was suddenly afraid to open his eyes, afraid to open his eyes and see the woman he hated so much and had sworn countless times in those long dark nights to tear into thousand pieces, would really drap lifelessly on the railing, leaving him a cold corpse.

He had imagined the scene countless times but why didn’t he feel an ounce of joy when it really came true?

Was taking revenge what he really wanted or would he rather live with deep hatred on opposite sides of the world, using the rest of his life to contend with each other for a long long time?

The sound of the iron clashing was low, but it was like a giant bell that shook him to the cord, even his sleeves seemed to tremble slightly.

Iron clashing…

The thought flashed through his mind, and he faintly felt something was amiss.

The poison needle was made of iron, so how could there be a sound of clashing when it entered a person’s flesh?

Then he heard someone beside him laughing and said, “Hey, what is this thing? It is so exquisitely made.”

Jin Siyu abruptly opened his eyes.

At first glance, he saw Feng Zhi Wei was still in the same position under him, looking a bit unnerved as well as she looked to his side.

Instantly, joy like a long river rolled through his heart. This joy startled him before he immediately frowned and turned to look at the man beside him.

The young man was playing with his ring with some puzzlement. The ring was not made of jade like an ordinary ring. It was dark and looked like metal and iron. The tiny blue poison needle was tightly attached to the ring.

Jin Siyu suddenly realized the man’s ring was actually made of magnets. The poison needle flew out, and he stretched out his hand in shock. The tiny poison needle could not resist the suction of the magnet and was instantly pulled to it.

Usually, no one would make a ring out of an ugly magnet, expect this person. The young prince of Changning, who was rich and powerful, who had long tired of gold, silver, pearls, and jade. The accessories on his body were all weird and bizarre.

And he accidentally saved Feng Zhi Wei’s life.

The young man played with the poison needle on the ring and was very interested in its toxicity. He carefully took it off, found a handkerchief to wrap it up, and stuffed it into his sleeve. He didn’t mention anything regarding returning it to Jin Siyu, and simply put it away. Jin Siyu could only smile helplessly.

After putting away his treasure, the young man finally had time to look down toward the unlucky chap who was saved by him, and who had been pressed under Jin Siyu.

By this time, Jin Siyu had already stepped aside.

The young man was standing in front of Feng Zhi Wei.

He lowered his head.

Feng Zhi Wei suddenly hooked her foot and kicked.

There was a muffled sound.

*Bang*

A body flew up, and a huge figure passed over Feng Zhi Wei’s head and fell into the lake with a loud bang.

The water splashed everywhere.

Jin Siyu stared dumbfounded at Feng Zhi Wei who had just kicked her savior into the lake. Straightening her clothes as if nothing had happened, Feng Zhi Wei said offhandedly, “Please take care of the rest, sir.” And then walked away briskly without a backward glance.

After narrowly escaping death, her first action wasn’t an expression of gratitude but to kick the person!

With a “splash”, a head suddenly popped out of the lake. With one hand covering his bloody nose that was the result of the impact, and another hand wiping the water from his face, the man shouted angrily, “What’s going on? Who kicked me into the water? Where is he? Bastard! Bastard!”
