Instantly on alert, he was about to turn to look at the captive when he suddenly discovered a person walking leisurely beside him. The person asked in a serious and polite manner: “Is that betel nut? This is the first time I have seen it. I heard that chewing betel nut too much will turn your teeth black. How do you keep your teeth white? Can you teach me?”

The village leader glanced over at the person and suddenly threw the betel nut in his hand. The betel nut drew a brown arc in the air and landed somewhere unknown, resulting in a tiny bang sound. At the same time, the people who had been standing there stunned also all moved. Each drawing out their swords, in a flash, they had surrounded Feng Zhi Wei who was speaking.

Feng Zhi Wei looked around and smiled, “Is this how you all treat guests from afar?”

The village leader turned around, and only now did Feng Zhi Wei see him clearly for the first time. He was actually also a young man, about seventeen or eighteen years old, with a handsome face that still had a hint of adolescence in it. His eyebrows were quite handsome and sharp, like some famed calligrapher’s final excited stroke, full of joy and willfulness.

It was hard to imagine that such a young man could build such a large and impressive village, and be a leader of such a group of fierce people who rob armies. Judging by his voice, he was the one who had issued the order on the cliff to cause the Commander to flee in a panic. There was already a bit of admiration in Feng Zhi Wei’s eyes as she looked at this young bandit village leader.

While she was busy admiring, the object of her admiration was having none of it. This youth was obviously the type of genius who was used to being respected and admired by others, so his personality is of those aloof and arrogant types. His gaze was cold as he looked at Feng Zhi Wei and said, “You have a bit of skill, but let me tell you, my Tianfeng Village has always been a place that you can come but can not leave.”

“Tianfeng Village?” With a strange light in her eyes, Feng Zhi Wei muttered this somewhat feminine name of the village and said with a smile, “As long as I can come, it’s fine. As for whether I can leave or not…let’s wait and see.”

The young village leader snorted and was about to speak but was suddenly hit with a realization, “Did you purposefully let me kidnap you?”

“Ah, the kid is teachable.” Feng Zhi Wei nodded with satisfaction and started walking towards the main hall in the front, “Come, let’s take a look at Tianfeng Village.”

Despite being surrounded, she just kept on talking and actually started to walk towards the village’s central area, with the attitude of a boss inspecting the territory of his subordinates. The young village leader stared, stunned by such a cool and domineering “captive”. Finally snapping out of his shock, his expression darkened, and shouted coldly, “Stop!” He jumped forward stretched out his arm, and in a lightening speed, grabbed at Feng Zhi Wei’s shoulder!

There was a swoosh of wind as he grabbed at her shoulder, showing that he was obviously furious. Feng Zhi Wei didn’t even turn her head but simply dropped her shoulder, sidestepped, as her right hand drew a semicircle in the air, and collided with her opponent’s eagle claw with a “snap”. After the muffled sound and a slight shaking movement of Feng Zhi Wei’s shoulder, the young man moved a step backward. After that one single step backward, he gritted his teeth and stood rooted to the spot, his face flushing red first then turning pale.

With a stony expression, he glared at Feng Zhi Wei who never did turn around. People around him looked at each other, wondering what had happened to their always invincible village leader today. It seemed perhaps he was the one who came out on the losing side of that exchange? And, why didn’t he keep on attacking?

By this point Feng Zhi Wei finally did turn around, glanced at the young man, and said gently, “It’s good for young people to have some sharpness in them, but don’t be too impulsive or aggressive. Look at you, you should have backed up three steps but you refused to and now, you have sustained internal injury, haven’t you?”

She wasn’t much older than the young man herself but spoke like an elderly when she was lecturing people. The young man was so angry that he didn’t know if he should be laughing or crying. He opened his mouth to refute but as soon as his mouth opened, Feng Zhi Wei suddenly flicked her finger and something flew into his mouth. The young man was caught off guard and it was too late to close his mouth. After tasting something bitter, the pill had already gone down his throat and dissolved immediately. Horrified, he was about to force himself to vomit but he suddenly felt a hot current gathering inside his body and spread out through his body, as the hot current traveled, the internal energy that was chaotic inside him just now was abruptly smoothed out. Immediately, his internal organs which were rebelling moments before and causing him to want to vomit, quickly settled down.

He was stunned momentarily, then he realized he was given an excellent medicine for his wounds. Not only had the medicine cured the internal juries he sustained just now but it also improved his internal energy strength. He should be grateful but seeing that they were in the middle of an awkward confrontation, he really didn’t know what what he should say. He has always been smart and resourceful, but now this young man who is around the same age as him somehow had him dancing to his tune and is even now, left standing like a fool, unsure what his opponent’s true intent is.

While the village leader was still trying to figure out the situation, Feng Zhi Wei had already turned a circle, looked at the people around her, and said with a smile, “Your foundation in martial arts is very solid, but it lacks the ability to change and is not organized. Although it is sufficient to protect yourself now, if an elite martial art master were to come, I am afraid you all would be easily taken out.”

She then pointed at the group of young men practicing martial arts outside and said, “Those young people are of mixed quality. Why are they practicing martial arts together? Some of them have already mastered the moves, while some can hardly keep up. Those who are familiar with the moves are just wasting time and those who can’t keep up are practicing in vain. Why aren’t you teaching students according to their aptitude and dividing them into classes to learn martial arts?”

Pointing at the mountain stronghold, she said, “Although this valley is hidden, it is by no means a place to settle down for good. There might be a cliff above here, but it is not impossible to climb it. Once someone figures out the terrain and climbs down the cliff, they can attack you from all sides with archers. Wouldn’t you be trapped prey by then?”

She talked with her hands gesturing. Listing several points, from criticizing the layout of the entire village, personnel arrangements, martial arts learning, and even the arrangements of both the seen and unseen sentries. The crowd listened quietly. Some seemed to have only half understood her words, but some had a gleam in their eyes and gradually put down their weapons.

The young village leader’s eyes also lit up as he listened. However, his proud nature still caused him to blurt out, “What do you know, this is what we do according to…”

“Jun’er, be quiet!”

A deep shout suddenly came, and people on all sides turned their heads and bowed, saying loudly, “Old village leader!”

Feng Zhi Wei turned around to see a yellow-faced middle-aged man standing in front of the main hall, supported by two men. He was examining her intently and then she heard the young man protest, “Father, you…”

“You shut up.” The man waved his hand resolutely, and by the time he turned to Feng Zhi Wei, he had a kind expression on his face as he said, “This is my son, Shaojun. I am sorry that he made a fool of himself in front of you, our guest.”

Feng Zhi Wei smiled and looked at him with her hands behind her back, and said nonchalantly, “It’s alright, it’s alright.”

Her matter-of-course attitude made the young man named Sahojun so angry that veins popped out of his neck, but he didn’t dare to interrupt his dad.
